Peter G. Lennington, Esq.
Peter G. Lennington is a Twin Cities attorney and counselor, helping traditional and non-traditional families plan for life, deal with death, resolve conflict, and preserve a lasting legacy. Hundreds of families have engaged Peter to ensure that their loved ones have the information, guidance, and resources they need in the event of a death or disability. Peter is past president of the American Association of Trusts, Estates, and Elder Law Attorneys (AATEELA), a national, invitation-only organization of attorneys specializing in estate planning and elder law. He is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys; and a member of the Wealth Counsel, a nationwide collaboration of trusts and estates attorneys and other legal, tax and business professionals. Peter's continuing education and collegial involvement ensures the most sophisticated planning techniques are always available to the firm's clients. He is also a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, Probate & Trust Law Section; and the Hennepin County Bar Association. Peter graduated from the University of Toledo, College of Law in 1990, where he was Editor of the Toledo Law Review, 6th Circuit Edition. He has served as the chief appellate court clerk for Hon. Donald R. Ford, presiding judge of the Ohio Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit; and for the current Assistant Presiding Judge Gary Larson, of the Minnesota Fourth Judicial District Court. Peter is a frequently requested lecturer for the University of Minnesota, College of Human Ecology, and speaks to private groups on a variety of different topics, including family protection planning, wealth preservation, and elder law. Peter also routinely instructs attorneys and other financial professional in the areas of estate planning and planning for the elderly. As the firm's founder, Peter holds the highest standard of client services, scholarship and lawyer accessibility. Peter serves the firm's clients by first listening closely to their goals, dreams and concerns. He then works with them to develop superior plans, that reflect his clients' own unique situations. Kristi Stevens is an enthusiastic and compassionate attorney who is dedicated to working in the areas of elder law and estate planning. She focuses her attention on providing knowledgeable, insightful, and comprehensive advice to the firm’s clients. Kristi is a member of the Minnesota Bar Association, Probate & Trust and Elder Law Sections, and the Hennepin County Bar Association. Kristi has most recently been a contributor to a continuing education course on estate planning and elder law. Kristi joined Lennington Law Firm after receiving her J.D. from Hamline University School of Law in 2005. Kristi completed her undergraduate studies from the University of North Dakota in 1999. She received her B.A. in International Studies and Spanish.
Katrina Gulstad is a bright, committed attorney. The daughter of two Minnesota educators, Katrina is dedicated to providing knowledgeable, efficient, and compassionate service to the firm's clients. Katrina graduated Cum Laude from the University of Minnesota Law School and served as a staff member of The Journal of Law & Inequality. She graduated in the top 2% of her class at Brigham Young University, earning a B.A. in journalism and membership in Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, Golden Key National Honor Society and Kappa Tau Alpha Honor Society. As Valedictorian of the Elk River High School class of 1994, Katrina was honored as a BYU Scholarship recipient and received the Tandy Technology Award for being in the top 2% of science students in the nation. Katrina is a member of the Minnesota Bar Association, the Ramsey County Bar Association and the Minnesota Women Lawyers Association. She has been published numerous times in The Daily Universe, The Springville Herald, and Minnesota Engineers, and most recently as a contributor for an Elder Law continuing legal education course. Katrina is an avid horseback rider and trainer and has competed at local, state, and national competitions for more than 20 years. She is an active member of the Western Saddle Clubs Association and the Minnesota Quarter Horse Association, and volunteers annually at the State 4-H Horse Show as an assistant judge.
Elyse is highly adept at providing the firm with a sense of perspective. As part of her ongoing internship, Elyse counsels the firm in the areas of time management, priorities, and acknowledging the spiritual. Elyse is currently pursuing a bilingual education at Adams Spanish Immersion Elementary School. In her spare time, she's very active in soccer, violin, piano, and reading. Elyse also enjoys acting, art, and lounging with her cousins at the cabin.
Anna is principally responsible for ensuring that every day brings the requisite level of excitement. She is currently pursuing her dreams of capturing and domesticating all living creatures. When she's not enjoying a bowl of chocolate ice cream, Anna is engaged in a dual kindergarten program at Highland Park Montessori and Adams Spanish Immersion Elementary School. She is also active in soccer, violin, and caring for her dog and hamster. |
